England will play two Test matches in India as scheduled next month despite militant attacks in Mumbai, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Lalit Modi said on Thursday.
Modi said the first Test would go ahead in Ahmedabad from December 11-15 but the second, scheduled for Mumbai from December 19-23, could be moved to a southern Indian city.
"The ECB [English board] has requested that and we are examining it," Modi said, referring to a possible change of venue. "The Test series will go on."
The final two games in the seven-match one-day series were cancelled on Thursday after militants killed more than 100 people in Mumbai on Wednesday.
