India elect to bat in second ODI

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first in the second one-day international against England in Indore on Monday.

India, 1-0 up in the seven-game series, and England retained the same teams from the first game.

India batsman Yuvraj Singh, who lashed an unbeaten 138 in Rajkot on Friday, was declared fit after a back problem surfaced during his match-winning knock.

England chose not to include Ryan Sidebottom despite the left-arm paceman recovering from the ankle injury which prevented him from playing the first game.

Teams:

England: Ian Bell, Matt Prior, Owais Shah, Kevin Pietersen (captain), Andrew Flintoff, Paul Collingwood, Samit Patel, Ravi Bopara, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Steve Harmison.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, R.P. Singh, Munaf Patel.
