Australia captain Ricky Ponting was fined 20 percent of his match fee and his team mates docked 10 percent on Monday for their slow over rate in the fourth and final Test against India.
An International Cricket Council statement said Australia had been two overs short of their required target after taking time allowances into consideration.
Ponting drew flak for using part-time bowlers to speed up the over-rate on the penultimate day of the fourth and final Test against India, but could not help his team escape a fine in the match which they lost by 172 runs.
