Australia elect to bat in first final

Australia [ Images ] won the toss and elected to bat in the first of the best of three finals against India [ Images ] in the CB tri-series in Sydney [ Images ] on Sunday.

On the Sydney track, known for providing help to spinners, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni [ Images ] picked leg-spinner Piyush Chawla [ Images ] instead of pacer Munaf Patel [ Images ].

Australia also made one change from the team that was beaten by Sri Lanka [ Images ] in their last match, bringing in opener Matthew Hayden [ Images ] in place of Brad Haddin [ Images ].
