Sachin Tendulkar hit a timely century to lead India to a deserved six-wicket victory over Australia in the first final of the CB tri-series in Sydney on Sunday.
The master batsman was unable to score a hundred on Australian soil in his 37 previous innings, but delivered the knock-out punch when it mattered the most.
He batted through the entire Indian innings to finish unbeaten on 117 and help India take a 1-0 lead in the best of three finals.
This was Tendulkar's fifth hundred in a tournament final, but his first in more than nine years.
We take a look at Tendulkar's match-winning knocks in tournament finals.
