India [ Images ] won the toss and elected to bat in the third Test against Australia [ Images ] at the WACA [ Images ] in Perth on Wednesday.

Both teams made two changes to the sides that played in the first two Tests in Melbourne [ Images ] and Sydney [ Images ], each won by Australia.

Opening batsman Chris Rogers will make his Test debut for Australia after replacing the injured Matthew Hayden [ Images ] while fast bowler Shaun Tait [ Images ] will earn his first cap in more than two years as a replacement for Brad Hogg [ Images ].

India recalled dashing opener Virender Sehwag [ Images ] for Yuvraj Singh [ Images ] and dropped spinner Harbhajan Singh [ Images ] for paceman Irfan Pathan [ Images ].
