Fog delayed the start of play on the last day of the weather-hit second and final Test between India and England in Mohali on Tuesday.
India, 1-0 up in the series, were due to resume their second innings on 134 for four, an overall lead of 285 runs.
A draw appears the likely result after poor visibility curtailed play on each day of the game.
England were dismissed for 302 in reply to India's first innings 453. The hosts won the first Test by six wickets.
