The second day of New Zealand's opening Test match against the West Indies was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Friday after heavy overnight rain made conditions unplayable.
Heavy rain and then persistent showers throughout the day left much of the University Oval in Dunedin unplayable.
New Zealand will resume their first inningsĀ on Saturday on 226 for 4, with Jesse Ryder on 54 and Brendon McCullum on 4.
