The England cricket team's tour of India for the two-match Test series appeared to be on, sources in the know said on Sunday night.
The sources said that English cricketers, who are currently in Abu Dhabi training for the series will fly into Chennai in two batches on Monday.
The team management is expected to give a final decision on the fate of the series later tonight after the ECB security expert Reg Dickason submits his report on the security scenario in India.
Dickason, ECB Managing Director Hugh Morris and Professional Cricketers' Association CEO Sean Morris had left Chennai this afternoon to join the team in Abu Dhabi where they will brief the players on the security scenario in India.
England are scheduled to play two Test matches -- in Chennai (December 11-15) and Mohali (December 19-23) -- during their tour. The ODI series was earlier called off with two matches remaining because of Mumbai terror attacks.
