The International Cricket Council's [ Images ] annual conference will take place in Dubai [ Images ] rather than at Lord's in London [ Images ], the ICC [ Images ] said on Monday.
"The decision to move the location to the United Arab Emirates [ Images ] was made by the ICC board on the basis that all delegates required to attend would be permitted entry," the Dubai-based ICC said in a statement.
Media reports last week said the June 29 - July 4 conference could be moved from its traditional venue due to visa problems for Zimbabwe board chief Peter Chingoka.
England's [ Images ] David Morgan will take over as president and Haroon Lorgat [ Images ] as chief executive at the six-day conference.
