Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] became only the second batsmen to appear in 400 one-day internationals during the fifth match against Australia [ Images ] in Vadodara on Thursday and was presented with a silver trophy by the Baroda Cricket Association for achieving the landmark.
The trophy was handed over to the master batsman, only the second behind Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya [ Images ] to appear in 400 ODIs, by BCA president and BCCI vice-president Chirayu Amin [ Images ] at the Reliance [ Get Quote ] Stadium.
Cheques worth Rs 11 lakh each were also handed over to the Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf, for having been part of the victorious Twenty20 [ Images ] World Cup team.
Irfan is a member of the squad in the ongoing ODI series against Australia.
