Sachin Tendulkar became only the second batsmen to appear in 400 one-day internationals during the fifth match against Australia in Vadodara on Thursday and was presented with a silver trophy by the Baroda Cricket Association for achieving the landmark.
The trophy was handed over to the master batsman, only the second behind Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya to appear in 400 ODIs, by BCA president and BCCI vice-president Chirayu Amin at the Reliance Stadium.
Cheques worth Rs 11 lakh each were also handed over to the Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf, for having been part of the victorious Twenty20 World Cup team.
