The Board of Control for Cricket in India has spoken to the Home Ministry on the issue of security for the Indian and the touring Pakistani team and is satisfied with the arrangements.
"So far, I think adequate security arrangements have been made and proper cover has been provided to the players as well as the spectators," BCCI Vice President, Rajeev Shukla said in New Delhi on Saturday.
He said that before every match, BCCI spoke to the Home Ministry and whenever any security arrangements were required, "it definitely lets them know."
Close on the heels of Friday's blasts in Uttar Pradesh, another email threatening a series of explosions, including an attack on the visiting Pakistani cricket team, is doing the rounds today.
