Manoj undergoes successful operation

Cricketer Manoj Tiwary, who was injured while practising before the first one-dayer against Bangladesh in Dhaka, has undergone a successful arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder by Dr Andrew Wallace in London [ Images ].

According to Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) sources, Manoj has been discharged from the hospital and is now staying in a hotel there.

Manoj would be examined again by Dr Wallace on May 30 and if found alright he would leave for Kolkata [ Images ] the next day.

Manoj also spoke to CAB president Prasun Mukherjee after his operation on Thursday. After returning to Kolkata, Manoj would be reporting to Team India [ Images ] physio John Gloster for starting his rehabilitation schedule.
