India [ Images ] skipper Rahul Dravid [ Images ] on Wednesday became the sixth batsman in the world and the third from India to reach the landmark of 10,000 runs in one-day internationals during the third match against Sri Lanka [ Images ] in Goa [ Images ].
Dravid, who needed 22 runs at the start of his innings, in his 309th ODI, achieved the landmark with a single off Sanath Jayasuriya [ Images ], who is one of the six to have achieved the feat, in India's replied to Sri Lanka's total of 230 for 8.
Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] and Sourav Ganguly [ Images ], with 14,783 and 10,412 runs from 381 and 285 matches respectively, are the other two Indians who have crossed the milestone.
Other members of the 10,000 club are: Inzamam-ul Haq (Pak) 11665 runs in 374 ODIs; Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka) 11516, 378; and Brian Lara [ Images ] (West Indies [ Images ]) 10136, 290.
