Dean Jones is back

Even before the curtain went up on the India-Sri Lanka series, with the lung opener at the Eden Gardens in Kolkatta, Neo Sports - 'the home of cricket in India' [ Images ] - sprang a surprise on its viewers when it unveiled its studio panel.

Joining the likes of Arjuna Ranatunga [ Images ] and Javagal Srinath in the box is a certain Dean Jones - the same man who, in August 2006, was sacked from his job in the commentary panel following his racist slur against South African player Hashim Amla [ Images ], whom he characterized as a 'terrorist'.

Public memory is short, but surely not non-existent? What do you think - should Jones have been reinstated?
