Bowlers called the shots on day two as well as Bengal were all out for a paltry 124 runs in their second essay to set Orissa a target of 132 in the Ranji Trophy Super League match at the Kanchenjangha stadium in Siliguri on Monday.

No Bengal batsman could stand upto the rival bowlers. Only opener Arindam Das played a defiant knock of 47, studded with nine bounderies. He was caught by Rashmi Ranjan Parida off a Pritamjit Das delivery.

Two other batsmen, Sourav Sarkar and Ashok Dinda, reached the double figure mark of 31 and 18 respectively.

Basant Mohanty of Orissa, who reaped a rich harvest of six wickets in the first innings, sent back Bengal's Ranadeb Bose and Shibshankar Paul on Monday.

With plenty of time in their hands, Orissa began their second innings on a confident note.

Opener Bikash Pati scored 30 runs in 25 balls, with six boundaries, to steady Orissa innings after two experienced batsmen Shib Sundar Das (0) and Niranjan Behera (19) fell early.

Parida (27) and his younger namesake Rashmi Ranjan Das (1) were at the crease at the draw of stumps.
