Yuvraj Singh failed to make it for Punjab's Ranji Trophy match against Bengal on Saturday after being laid low with a stomach ailment.
The left-hander was rushed to play the match in Siliguri after being left out of the team for the second Test against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens. But, as luck would have it, he was forced to sit out of the Super League match too due to indigestion.
Yuvraj, who was not included in the team for the first Test in Delhi too, was originally named 12th man for ongoing Test, but since was keen to play in the Ranji match omitted from the 12 at the last minute. Murali Kartik took his place.
