Australia elect to bat against India

Australian captain Ricky Ponting [ Images ] won the toss and elected to bat against India [ Images ] in the third one-day international of the DLF Cup tri-series at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

Yuvraj Singh [ Images ], who was out of the first match with an illness, returns to the Indian side in place of Mohammad Kaif.

India lost their first match against the West Indies [ Images ] by 29 runs by the Duckworth-Lewis method on Thursday while Australia [ Images ] won their opening match against West Indies.

Australia made three changes to the team that beat the Caribbean team by 78 runs in the series opener on Tuesday.

Simon Katich [ Images ], Dan Cullen and Nathan Bracken [ Images ] made way for Damien Martyn, Brad Hogg [ Images ] and Stuart Clark.
