The Indian team for the one-day series in South Africa was announced on Monday.
The new chairman of selectors Dilip Vengsarkar and his team have refrained from making wholesale changes in the team that failed to make the semi-final at the ongoing Champions Trophy tournament.
Zaheer Khan and Anil Kumble make a comeback, while opener Wasim Jaffer was a surprise choice. Many players who have shown indifferent form of late retain their places in the side.
In fact while announcing the team, Vengsarkar also said there was no exceptional talent available in India.
Is this the best combination to take on South Africa on the bouncy pitches there?
