The Indian cricket team's physical trainer, Gregory King, is suffering from pneumonia, but recovering well.
King, who was flown to Bangalore from Ahmedabad, was admitted to the super-specialty hospital Wockhardt.
In a statement, the hospital's consultant chest physician, Dr K Satish, said preliminary tests indicated that King had been suffering from chest infection and pneumonia.
He is put on antibiotic regime and responding well, he added.
King is expected to be discharged early next week and would be in a position to join the team soon, Dr Satish informed.
