Gayle fined for outburst

West Indies [ Images ] all rounder Chris Gayle [ Images ] was fined 30 percent of his match fee on Wednesday for a code of conduct breach during the narrow ICC [ Images ] Champions Trophy [ Images ] victory over Australia [ Images ].
Gayle and Australia batsman Michael Clarke [ Images ] exchanged words in the middle during the Group A game in Mumbai [ Images ] which West Indies won by 10 runs.
Gayle and Clarke were summoned for a disciplinary hearing after the game where the Australian player was found not guilty, an ICC spokesman said.
