Zimbabwe captain Prosper Utseya won the toss and elected to field against Bangladesh, in an inconsequential Champions Trophy qualifying match at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur on Friday.
Bangladesh made two changes to the team that lost to the West Indies in the previous match. Mohammad Ashraful and Syed Rasel made way for Rajin Saleh and Mehrab Hossain Jr., the last-named making his One-Day International debut.
Zimbabwe had Gary Brent coming in place of Terry Duffin. Former captain Duffin returned home after being unwell for the last week. He played neither of the two matches, against the West Indies and Sri Lanka.
The two teams are out of the reckoning, having lost both their two matches against Sri Lanka and the West Indies who have clinched the two available berths in the Super Eight stage of the biennial event.
