India captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to bat in the third one-day international against the West Indies in St Kitts on Tuesday.
India were dealt a blow as the in-form Yuvraj Singh was ruled out of the match due to back spasms. His place in the team was taken by Venugopal Rao.
The other change for India was in the fast bowling department. Munaf Patel, who went wicketless in the last match, gave way to S Sreesanth.
The West Indies retained the team that beat India by one run in the second one-day international in Jamaica to level the five-match series at 1-1.
