The start of the first One-Day International between India and the West Indies, at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica, was delayed due to heavy overnight rain.

Umpire Steve Bucknor announced that an hour's play will be lost, resulting in a 45-over game.

More rain this morning had earlier virtually ruled out the possibility of play.
