Kumble joins 500-club

Anil Kumble [ Images ] became the first Indian and only the fifth bowler in Test cricket history to reach the 500-wicket mark when he had Steve Harmison [ Images ] plumb in front on the third day of Mohali Test.

Kumble thus joined the exclusive club of Courtney Walsh [ Images ], Shane Warne [ Images ], Muttiah Muralitharan [ Images ] and Glenn McGrath [ Images ].
