Heavy overnight rain forced a 30-minute delay in the start of play on the third day of the second Test between India and England in Mohali on Saturday.
Play was scheduled to start at 1000 IST after the weather relented in the morning and the ground was in good shape.
The start had originally been advanced by half-an-hour to make up for time lost due to poor weather on the first two days.
England were on 200 for five after electing to bat. The first match of the three-Test series ended in a draw.
