The umpires' examination for non-cricketers, scheduled to be held on July 22 in Jaipur [ Images ], has been postponed till the first week of August, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [ Images ] said on Monday.

The decision to defer the examinations was taken by the Working Committee of the apex cricket body, BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said in a press release.
