Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly will play the third cricket Test between India and Pakistan scheduled to start in Karachi from Sunday.
Ganguly will find a place in the final eleven, a team source told PTI on Saturday night.
Suspense was looming over Ganguly's fate as the team management was tight-lipped on whether the Bengal left-hander will be included in the team.
Earlier in the day, names of 13 players, including Ganguly's, who would play the Test had been announced by the Indian camp.
However, in case of the southpaw's inclusion in the final eleven, India are likely to go back to their traditional combination of four bowlers and seven batsmen.
