Angry fans of former India skipper Sourav Ganguly on Saturday burnt an effigy of coach Greg Chappell in protest of the non-inclusion of the Bengal boy in the second Test against Pakistan, terming the move as a 'repeated humiliation' and 'injustice' to Ganguly.

Slogan-shouting fans demonstrated in a south Kolkata locality blaming Chappell and captain Rahul Dravid for dropping Ganguly from the team.

"This is unacceptable. Why does it have to be Dada all the time? Chappell and Dravid playing games with him, humiliating him repeatedly," said a Ganguly fan.

The protestors held forth placards saying, "why was Ganguly dropped?" and "Greg Chappell, go back."

The agitators said if the "injustice" meted out to Ganguly did not stop immediately, they would resort to bigger agitation in future.
