A light drizzle has delayed the start of play on the third day of the first Test between India and Pakistan in Lahore on Sunday.

Umpires Rudi Koertzen and Darrell Hair had an inspection at 10 am, 15 minutes after the scheduled start, before deciding to commence play for the day at 1030 am local time (11 am IST).

Covers were on the square under an overcast sky and the threat of rains remained with clouds hovering overhead.

19 overs were lost on Saturday due to bad light in the evening and India were 65 for no loss in 13 overs in reply to Pakistan's massive first innings total of 679 for 7 declared.
