Flamboyant opening batsman Virender Sehwag says his triple century during his last visit to Pakistan is history and he's prepared afresh with specific drills to counter the hosts' fast bowling.

Sehwag, the only Indian to score a triple hundred, said his 309 in the opening Test at Multan in early 2004 is a thing of the past and the forthcoming series presents him a new challenge.

"That is two years ago and this is a new series and challenge," Sehwag, who joined the squad on Saturday after playing in the Ranji Trophy, said.

"I have prepared to face fast bowling by batting against hard, synthetic balls. I am not targeting any bowler. I will play my natural game," he said.

Sehwag feels Pakistan will under more pressure than India as they would be playing in front of home crowd.

"It's going to be a tough series as both the teams are equally matched. We have beaten Sri Lanka at home and Pakistan defeated England. But Pakistan would be under a bit more pressure as they are playing at home," he said.

Assessing the practice game against Pakistan 'A', which he did not play in, he was pleased that it went well for the Indian team as the batsmen got runs and the bowlers captured wickets.

He also said that the first Test, at Lahore from January 13, would assume a lot of importance in the series.

"We are geared up for the challenge," he added.
