Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul Haq was down with fever, running a 103-degree temperature, when he turned up at a hotel in Lahore to unveil the Allianz Cup on Monday evening.
"Yes, he is not well and could hardly walk when he turned up to unveil the Cup that would be presented to the winner of the three-match Test series," a Pakistan Cricket Board official said.

Pakistan take on India in the first Test, starting at the Gaddafi stadium, Lahore, on January 13. Inzamam is the mainstay of the team and his absence could severely dent Pakistan's chances in the opening match.
"We have still three days to go before the start of the Test and, hopefully, he will recover in time to take charge of the team in the first Test," the official added.
Both Inzamam and India captain Raul Dravid unveiled the Cup that would be presented to the winner of the three-Test series.
