Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer on Sunday said it is difficult say what went wrong precisely but blamed missed catches and fielding errors as main reasons for his team's loss in the one-day international series against India.

"We dropped catches and our fielding was terrible. We need to do a lot on this. But Indian outplayed us in all three aspects, batting, bowling and fielding. I can't put my hand and say this was the reason why we lost," Woolmer said after Pakistan lost by eight wickets in the fifth and final match in Karachi.

"We had a very good series against England. We won the Test match at Karachi too. It's difficult to say what went wrong precisely. The boys tried very hard and did their best. But in cricket sometimes this happens," he said.

Woolmer said India made a good comeback after the break following the first one-dayer and that combined with small things had its impact as a whole on the team's performance.

"There were a few things that resulted in the turnaround. India regrouped well after the four-day break [because of Muharram after the first ODI in Peshawar].

"We lost the toss in the second and third games played under lights which were very important. Then a lot of small things impacted. We now have to work on a lot of aspects [to improve)," the former England opener said.

Woolmer praised man of the series Yuvraj Singh saying they had seen what he is capable of during their last visit to India one year ago.

"He's a good player. We saw what he was capable of on our visit to India last year. But he's got a hamstring problem which puts him in doubt for the series against England."
