India won the toss and elected to field in the third one-day international against Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Monday.

Making two changes from the side that won the second match in Rawalpindi on Saturday, the tourists are without prolific opening batsman Virender Sehwag because of a shoulder problem.

Gautam Gambhir replaces Sehwag and India have also brought in paceman Rudra Pratap Singh for Zaheer Khan.

Pakistan are without fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who has been ruled out of the five-match series with an ankle injury after already missing the first two games.

The home side did make one change, however, bringing in all rounder Yasir Arafat in place of Umar Gul, who was named Supersub in place of off-spinner Arshad Khan.

The series is tied at 1-1.
