Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer conceded that his side was thrashed by India in the second one-dayer and said his players would have to "start working harder" for the remaining matches.

"We had a bad day basically while India played very good cricket and I have to give credit to them for batting and bowling well. We were thrashed," Woolmer told reporters after Pakistan's defeat that helped India level the five-match rubber 1-1.

Woolmer blamed the four run-outs in Pakistan's innings as one of the major factors for the loss.

"The four run outs made a difference and out of them were the two crucial ones -- of Shoaib Malik (95) and Younis Khan (81)," the former England opener said.

Woolmer also slammed his bowlers for the way they performed when Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag put on a century stand to kick-start the Indian run-chase in a rollicking fashion.

"We have to look back in the mirror and start working harder," he said.

The home team coach said Shoaib Malik's performance with the bat was one of the positives that emerged from the match for his team.

"His batting is one of the positives we had from the match. He batted superbly."
