India enter the three-match Test series against South Africa in a confident frame of mind after the convincing 96-run victory over Rest of South Africa in a four-day warm-up match.

While the top batsmen are yet to strike form, the gutsy batting of Sourav Ganguly and Irfan Pathan in the practice match has given India a glimpse of hope for the battles ahead.
