Kumble, Dravid only Indians in ICC's top 10

Veteran leg-spinner Anil Kumble [ Images ] climbed two rungs to be sixth among bowlers while skipper Rahul Dravid [ Images ] maintained his second place in the batsmen's list on the latest ICC [ Images ] Test players' rankings.

Kumble, who has overtaken Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar [ Images ] and Kiwi pace spearhead Shane Bond [ Images ], and Dravid are the only Indians among the top-10 list of bowlers and batsmen.

Paceman Irfan Pathan [ Images ] is fifth in the all-rounders' list, while among the bowlers he is 14th and the next highest ranked Indian after Kumble.

Virender Sehwag [ Images ] is the second highest placed Indian among the batsmen at 14th position.

Pakistan's vice-captain Younis Khan [ Images ], has moved up four places to be at a career-high third among batsmen and Mohammed Yousuf remains in fourth spot in the rankings ahead of captain Inzamam, who has slipped one place to seventh.

Only Pakistan and Australia [ Images ] have three players in the top 10 of the batting list. Apart from skipper Ponting Australia have Matthew Hayden [ Images ] in sixth position and Michael Hussey [ Images ] in eighth.

England [ Images ] has three players inside the top 20 with its highest-placed representative Kevin Pietersen [ Images ], up one spot to 11th, acting captain Andrew Strauss [ Images ] at 13th-- and Marcus Trescothick [ Images ], who lies 15th.

Sri Lanka's [ Images ] captain Mahela Jayawardene [ Images ] has consolidated his position in the top 10 of the rankings for Test batsmen.

Jayawardene lies 10th in that list, just behind ninth-ranked Kumar Sangakkara [ Images ], who has slipped down one place.

Muttiah Muralitharan [ Images ] still leads the bowling list after a match haul of 12-225, while team-mate Chaminda Vaas [ Images ] lies 12th.
