Australian spearhead Glenn McGrath took his 520th Test career wicket when he dismissed West Indies captain Brian Lara for five in the sixth over of his opening spell during the first inningsĀ of the World XI in the ICC Super Test in Sydney on Saturday.

The Australian became the leading paceman in Test cricket surpassing West Indian Courtney Walsh. He is now third in all-time list after teammate Shane Warne (623 wickets) and Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan (560).
McGrath showed his class producing a devastating spell and grabbed the prize wickets of two of the best batsmen of the world -- Rahul Dravid and Lara.
Dravid was out for duck, offering a regulation catch to Gilchrist while a shuffling Lara was trapped right in front on a ball that held its line after pitching on the middle stump.
