Sri Lanka [ Images ] captain Marvan Atapattu [ Images ] won the toss and elected to bat on a strip that may provide early assistance to the fast bowlers at the IPCL [ Get Quote ] Sports Complex in Baroda in the seventh and final ODI against India on Saturday.

India has already clinched the series with a 5-1 lead in the seven-ODI tournament.

The visitors left out out-of-form Sanath Jayasuriya [ Images ], who was also axed from the Test squad for the Test series against India next month. Muttiah Muralitharan [ Images ] too hasn't recovered enough from the hamstring injury.

For India, Rahul Dravid [ Images ] came back to the side after resting in the sixth ODI in Rajkot. He comes in place of Gautam Gambhir [ Images ], who performed well in the two chances that he got in the series.
