Lara joins unique club

Brian Lara [ Images ] was at his scintillating best on the opening day of the first Test against Pakistan at Barbados on Friday.

A man on a quiet mission to re-write history, his 29th Test ton not only drew him level with the Australian great Donald Bradman, but also completed a set of hundreds against all Test-playing countries.

The 36-year-old is now the sixth batsman to have scored a century against all other nine Test playing countries. This exclusive clubs includes Australia's [ Images ] Steve Waugh [ Images ], South Africa's [ Images ] Gary Kirsten, India's [ Images ] Rahul Dravid [ Images ] and Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] and Sri Lanka's [ Images ] Marvan Atapattu [ Images ]
