Waugh plans to set up township in Mumbai

Former Australia [ Images ] skipper Steve Waugh [ Images ] is planning to set up a township in Mumbai [ Images ].
He met Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh [ Images ] at Mantralaya on Tuesday and discussed his plans.
Deshmukh told reporters after the cabinet meeting that Waugh's company had proposed to set up a township in the city on a "100 to 400 acre land".
The industry secretary has been appointed the nodal agency for the proposal, Deshmukh added.
