Leg spinner Anil Kumble has been omitted from India's 14-man squad for the first two matches of their One-Day Iinternational series against Pakistan, starting on Saturday.
The 34-year-old Kumble claimed 17 wickets in the three-Test series which ended in a 1-1 draw on Monday following Pakistan's 168-run victory in the final Test in Bangalore.
Batsman Vangipurappu Laxman, wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik and opening batsman Gautam Gambhir are the other members of the Test squad to be left out.
Laxman and Kumble were also overlooked for the previous one-day series in Bangladesh in December, which India won 2-1.
