The Pakistan cricket selectors on Friday left out fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar from a 16-member squad for the six-match one day series against India starting on April 2 at Kochi.
The selectors also made three changes from the Test team currently in India. Openers Yasir Hameed and Taufeeq Umar, and paceman Mohammad Khalil made the way for allrounder Mohammad Hafeez and pacemen Shahid Nazir and Rao Iftikhar Anjum.
Squad: Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain), Younis Khan (vice-captain), Salman Butt, Mohammad Hafeez, Shahid Afridi, Yousuf Youhana, Asim Kamal, Kamran Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Nazir, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Mohammad Sami, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Danish Kaneria, Arshad Khan and Shoaib Malik.
