Sri Lanka's leading fast bowler Chaminda Vaas is likely to miss the start of the triangular series against West Indies and India, the team's physiotherapist said on Sunday.
Vaas struggled when batting in the second Test against West Indies on Sunday and had to call for a runner before being bowled for 19.
"Chaminda picked up a grade one hamstring strain the other day and at the moment he is looking at being out for seven to 10 days," physiotherapist CJ Clarke told Reuters after the third day's play.
"At this stage he looks unlikely for the first game against India in the tri-series," he added.

"We rested him when bowling in the first innings because we did want it to develop into a grade two strain which could mean he is out for three-four weeks," Clarke added.
"Batting was not ideal and we now have to make sure the injury is not exacerbated by any sprinting."
Sri Lanka's first game of the tri-series is against India at Dambulla on July 30.
