All-rounder Abdul Razzaq [ Images ] has replaced Pakistan team mate Shoaib Akthar in the Asian XI for Monday's charity game against a Rest of the World XI, the International Cricket Council [ Images ] (ICC [ Images ]) said on Friday.
A hamstring injury forced pace bowler Shoaib to withdraw from the Melbourne [ Images ] Cricket Ground match, which will raise money for victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
Leading players from Australia [ Images ], England [ Images ], New Zealand [ Images ] and the West Indies [ Images ] will represent the Rest of the World XI against the Asian team, which includes players from Bangladesh, India [ Images ], Pakistan and Sri Lanka [ Images ].
Australia's Ricky Ponting [ Images ] will captain the Rest of the World team against India captain Saurav Ganguly's [ Images ] Asian side.
Hampered by Shoaib's injury in the third Test, Pakistan were beaten 3-0 by Australia in the three-match series which ended in Sydney [ Images ] earlier this week.
Australia will host Pakistan and West Indies in a triangular one-day series starting in Melbourne on January 14.
