The Board of Control for Cricket in India said on Thursday that the producer of live television feed for the India-Pakistan series was likely to be decided by March 1.
BCCI President Ranbir Singh Mahendra said that after getting the copy of the Madras High Court order, the issue would be placed before the Marketing Committee and then before the Working Committee of the BCCI.
He said the matches would be telecast by Doordarshan as directed by the High Court and the issue of selecting the producer would be finalised before the start of the series.
The Madras High Court directed Prasar Bharti to telecast the series and gave BCCI freedom to engage any producer for the purpose of live feed other than Zee TV and ESPN Star Sports on Thursday.
The Pakistan team would arrive in India on February 28 for the 50-day tour.
