Indian captain Rahul Dravid was discharged from a local hospital in Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning.
Dravid, who was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, and was admitted on Friday night, left the hospital at 1015 IST on Tuesday morning.
Dravid was taken to a local hospital at around 2330 IST on Friday after complaining of vomiting, chillness, throat infection and body ache and was put on an intravenous drip at an Ahmedabad hospital.
Mohammad Kaif replaced him in the playing eleven, while Virender Sehwag took over the captaincy.
It is expected that the Indian captain could visit the stadium sometime later in the day.
