Amol Muzumdar hit his second century of the season as Mumbai posted 232 for four against Railways on the first day of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group 'A' league match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
Muzumdar was unbeaten on 106, his 19th Ranji century, when play ended on day one.

Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat. Opener Sahil Kukreja scored 72 off 210 deliveries.
At one stage, Mumbai were 15 for the loss of two wickets, but later recovered thanks to some good play by Muzumdar and Kukreja.
Ramesh Powar (18 off 46 balls) was giving Muzumdar company when the day's play ended.
For Railways, J P Yadav claimed two wickets.
