Haryana skipper Amit Mishra trapped Daniel leg before for 25. Skipper Arjun Yadav (41) then played a cameo and saw that the momentum was not lost.

Anirudh's 86 was laced with 14 hits to the fence and one huge six before he nicked Joginder Singh into the hands of wicketkeeper Sunny Singh.

Arjun and Vinay Kumar took the onus on them and added 81 runs for the fourth wicket before Joginder Singh struck again to send Hyderabad skipper Yadav back to pavilion for 41.

Vinay Kumar and Ibrahim Kaleel tried to keep up the tempo but the former was run-out due to a mix up. Vinay hit five fours in his patient essay of 48.
