The four-day Ranji trophy Plate group 'A' tie between Goa and Himachal Pradesh scheduled to commence on Saturday at Rajendra Prasad stadium in Margao has been called-off, as Himachal Pradesh team did not turn up.
Goa Cricket Association (GCA) secretary Chetan Desai said as per their information, there are two state cricket teams, reportedly representing different factions in Himachal Pradesh, and under these circumstances a Ranji match cannot be played.
BCCI will decide about the awarding of points following the calling-off of this match, he said.
Earlier also, Himachal Pradesh's matches against Tripura and Saurashtra were not held.
So far, Goa has two points from three outings, with two draws and a defeat.
Goa will play their next match against Saurashtra from December 25 at Rajkot.
